Workspace roles control who can manage billing, settings, compliance, reporting, leads, bookings, and assigned work.
Role summary
Cendaro uses workspace roles so every teammate has their own login and only sees the work they should handle. Roles apply inside a workspace; they do not make a person a platform Admin HQ operator.
Owner
- Full workspace access, including billing, settings, reporting, compliance, exports, AI settings, and team management.
- Can invite managers and team members, change roles, disable users, and remove users when ownership safeguards allow it.
- Should never share their login with another person.
Manager
- Can usually view all leads and bookings, assign work, reply to customers, mark outcomes, and review reporting.
- Cannot manage billing, ownership transfer, or compliance logs by default.
- Best for daily operators who need broad workflow visibility without ownership controls.
Team Member
- Can work assigned leads and assigned bookings, reply to assigned customers, add notes, and update assigned work when allowed.
- Does not manage billing, workspace settings, compliance, exports, or team access.
- Best for technicians, coordinators, or part-time operators who should only see their own assigned queue.
Changing, disabling, and removing access
Owners can change roles, disable access temporarily, or remove a teammate from the workspace. Disabled users cannot access the workspace until reactivated. Removed users lose workspace access.
Cendaro should protect the last active owner so the workspace is not left without someone who can manage billing and team access.
Pending invitations and seats
Pending invitations count toward seat planning because invited users may accept and become active. If the workspace is at or above the included seat limit, Cendaro warns that adding another teammate may create an extra monthly seat charge.
